This Italian jewel, dating back to 1947, transports us to a Florentine palazzo, an opera loggia, a theatre stage. Fadini Borghi is to silk what Braquenié is to cottons. Inspired by fabrics brought back from the Far East by the sea voyagers of the Renaissance, this design house today works with silk in all its variations: ciselé velvet, taffeta, damask, lampas, brocades illustrated with classical Italian motifs (16th-19th century), Art Deco motifs or highly contemporary designs combining metal with silk. Sumptuous elegance and virtuoso expertise are the hallmarks of this company, which was acquired by Pierre Frey in 2004.
