SOLEIL LEVANT! A name that holds the promise of elsewhere, the discovery of a thousand-year-old art, landscapes and a singular craft: the Far East. Driven by the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, between fullness and the traces of human activity, the collection revisits the real or imaginary bestiary of tigers and dragons of this land, Chinese porcelain, and the techniques and motifs of traditional Japanese or Tibetan clothing. It is an invitation to poetic escapism through the interplay of textures, inks, shapes and colours in subtle harmonies.

Inspired by the most beautiful Italian beaches, BELLAGIO revisits foliage and palm groves while mindfully incorporating geometric designs. All the fabrics are High Performance, suitable for outdoor seating and curtains, and possess a particularly supple hand. Woven in Pierre Frey's workshops in the North of France, the designs in this collection take on new dimensions with patterns that are more freely scaled. The workshops have developed new, denser weaves, with a cotton sateen look or reminiscent of traditional basketwork.
