Philippine Poplu

Philippine Poplu is a French illustrator who thinks of her work as a gigantic puzzle. First, she draws in pencil, watercolour or ink on sheets of paper. When she is satisfied with her images, comes the composition phase, during which Philippine assembles and adjusts the different pieces in search of the perfect balance. It works on different media, textile, paper or tableware, challenged by its customers, most of whom come from the luxury industry.

Rituel collection

The RITUEL collection is inspired by South Africa. In the bush, the N’débélé people developed non-figurative art based on colored geometric motifs. These motifs are displayed on the outside walls of their houses, thus delivering a strong and powerful message that contrasts strongly with the landscape. This graphic art, the main vector of their identity, is the prerogative of women. Seduced by this double characteristic, la Maison Pierre Frey wishes to write a pictorial language in adequacy with our lifestyles.
