Here again, we find Christian Astuguevieille’s 'imaginary writing', as he likes to call it. The MOUCHARABIEH design comes from the artist’s notebook and was drawn with a ballpoint pen, colored with colored pencils, recomposed and enlarged into a jacquard. We find the artist’s favorite figurative elements — amphorae, objects, shields — combined with a more abstract and graphic motif. Since the fabric is double-faced, the artist’s design appears in positive and negative.
Reinforced stitching recommended to avoid fraying at seams
