Marin Montagut grew up in the colourful heat of southern France. Very early on, he began a life of travel and it was in London that he left his luggage to study at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Back in France, he anchored in Paris. Marin is passionate about the arts, encounters, antiques and tastes like a smiling bohemian. He then worked as a set designer and decorator for the cinema and set up his production company. This insatiable globetrotter continues his world tour with his watercolour notebook, wandering around the unusual places he likes to find off the beaten track. Marin creates and shares his poetic universe through the creation of charming objects that he publishes in collaboration with French craftsmen. He likes to invent and bring to life the objects that are missing from his daily life as an aesthete.
