Véronique Villaret

Véronique Villaret

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Nîmes, Véronique Villaret met Claude Viallat there and became his student. The work on color of Claude Viallat, who was also one of the founders of the Supports/Surfaces movement, his detachment from painting supports, his freedom to paint on all materials, has greatly influenced the artistic path of Véronique Villaret. Véronique Villaret is not a first-timer at Maison Pierre Frey. She has already created two wallpapers: "Traits de génie", graphic and multicolored doodles and "Esquisses", a set of leaves and vases from a sketchbook. For Pierre Frey's Iles Echantées collection, she has imagined 27 different shapes evoking the atmosphere of the Pacific islands. Available in three harmonies inspired by the blue and green reflections of the sky on the sea, by the ochre of the earth, sand or basketry and by the bright, acidic colors of the luxuriant vegetation, these shapes dress like a painting, fabrics, wallpaper, rugs and carpets in the name of the Polynesian atoll "Rangiroa"

Iles Enchantées collection

ILES ENCHANTEES collection is a beautiful escape to the shores of the Pacific whose islands fill our imagination. The mere mention of them brings up heavenly images: being rocked by the movement of the waves, diving into the crystal-clear waters of a lagoon, enjoying the scent of flowers or contemplating the horizon in the shade of coconut trees.
