This original and creative composition by the artist Mathilde Humbert transports us to the edge of a swimming pool on a sunlit summer afternoon. The undulating motifs evoke the shimmering of water under the sun, giving rise to a distinctly contemporary graphic language. The interplay between velvet and colored, heathered loop piles recalls the artist’s favored technique—watercolor.
The rug is made using the "RIVIERA" fiber, which is a solution-dyed acrylic with proven outdoor performance that works just as well as indoors. Its colorfastness and washability ensure an easy daily care.
