Woven in France, in the Pierre Frey EPV-certified workshops, the collection is perfectly suited to both indoor and outdoor use thanks to the exceptional properties of its yarns: water repellency, lightfastness and resistance to mould.
Thanks to its advanced technical expertise, Maison Pierre Frey offers an exceptional variety of textures, with eleven different yarns capable of producing around 150 shades, providing a vast field of expression for designers.
Inspired by the spirit of the JARDIN A LA FRANCAISE collection, BARFLEUR moves away from the colors traditionally associated with the outdoor world, such as pastels and light tones.
The collection reinterprets historic motifs, including foliage, tartans, and grape clusters, within a deliberately “indoor” palette. Although designed for outdoor use, these fabrics can also be used indoors, offering a natural and elegant finish.
ALENÇON is the first verdant tapestry with indoor-outdoor performance. It surprises with its scale and textured weft threads, which give it the character and depth of very large designs. It comes from an archive dating back to the early 20th century.
HARCOURT reinterprets a printed canvas from the second half of the 18th century preserved in the Maison's archives, in a dense weave with deep colours.
The collection also includes tartans and stripes inspired by a book on Scottish clans. Six to eight selected patterns were woven in chenille yarn, offering a soft touch combined with excellent durability.
