Emilio Pucci

Emilio Pucci

''Our only limit is our imagination'' - Emilio Pucci. This quote, uttered on two separate occasions by Laudomia Pucci in 2013 in Florence and Patrick Frey in Paris in 2016, may alone explain the connection between the two Maisons. This collaboration, born out of a somewhat crazy desire, is justified in many ways when one takes the time to discover their respective histories. Indeed, the two Maisons share many points in common. To begin with, each of them had a man founder. Emilio Pucci opened his first store in Capri in 1949. Pierre Frey created his eponymous brand in 1935. It is also the story of a family, as both Laudomia and Patrick continue and develop the business created by their fathers. The strength of the two Maisons is to have been able to perpetuate a strong identity beyond the emblematic figure of the founder.

Imagine collection

IMAGINE embodies the free spirit of the 1970s by transporting us to a world that is rich in textures and material effects. Inspired by the surface-support movement, it places as much importance on the materials as the colors, on the creative act as the final work. Composed of non-figurative drawings, it gives pride of place to motifs that draw their influence from abstract expressionism.
