Theodora FT313002

Free creation from old plates of Russian illuminations of Byzantine inspiration. Entirely hand-knotted in Nepal, the fineness of the knots honors the refinement of the engravings that inspired this composition. THEODORA is made resolutely original and contemporary by its colors, whose intensity is magnified by the alternation of wool and silk velvet.

CHARLOTTE JUILLARD

Charlotte Juillard was inspired by the geometric aesthetics of cubism to create the DORA line. The name DORA refers to Dora Maar, a French photographer and painter, who was one of the lovers and muses of the painter Pablo Picasso. This line, composed of a lounge chair, a sofa, a pouffe and a table, is part of an architectural composition where semi-circles, rectangles and squares are stacked to create a totemic construction. The tense and angular lines of the base fade and round off as they go along to reveal a pleated backrest that brings softness and generosity to the whole.
