Villa Elena

Noto, Italy

Jacques Garcia

Passionate about Sicily, Jacques Garcia restored and transformed an old monastery into a Baroque-style residence, the Villa Elena. Located near Noto, this residence houses the treasures of Italian art collected over time by the decorator: ancient marbles, stuccos, majolica, tapestries, seating, and precious objects.

Fabrics

On display in the Villa's games room and dining room is the prestigious fabric of the Maison Braquenié named CHATEAU D'ABONDANT, a reproduction of an 18th century painted silk kept in the Louvre Museum. Born from the imagination of this great decorator who is influenced by the layout and decoration of Italian palaces, Villa Elena is much more than a place to live; it is an ode to the Sicilian art of living between exterior sobriety and interior magnificence.
