DERRY brings elegance to a contemporary interior: a jute thread embroidered onto a raffia weave traces the outline of a large, gentle wave. Raffia is a natural yarn whose appearance varies according to production batches and climatic conditions. The weave is composed of knots, as the fibers are short. As the base is coloured using a highly artisanal process, variations in shade may appear. These characteristics give this wallcovering its raw, authentic character, evoking a sense of travel — qualities that particularly appealed to the design studio.
