Collection Anniversaire 1823-2023

On the eve of its bicentennial, Braquenié bears witness to the timelessness of its heritage and celebrates the quintessence of French style, a subtle blend of foreign influences and national creations.

PARIS IN TEXTILE DESIGN

Throughout its history, Paris has attracted many artists. Whether it is a setting for daily life, a symbol of power or a place of architectural expression, the capital constitutes a protean source of inspiration for creators.

Episode 13#GUESTTALENTS: HILT LINE by VINCENT DUPONT ROUGIER

Vincent Dupont-Rougier designs the HILT furniture line for Pierre Frey. This line is developed around legs carved from solid oak pieces. The sculptural appearance of the base is reflected in the faceted volumes and the rigidity of the outer lines contrasts with a soft comfort.

GABRIELLE, DESIGN BY GABRIELLE RUL FOR PIERRE FREY

The Pierre Frey design studio was seduced by Gabrielle Rul’s work, a 27-year-old model and multi-plastician, and reproduced one of her pieces composed of an assembly of silhouettes and female faces. The drawing realized with Indian ink gently illustrates the artist’s abundant, authentic and poetic imagination.

Episode 12#GUESTTALENTS: LITHO LINE by GUILLAUME DELVIGNE

The LITHO furniture line, designed by Guillaume Delvigne for Pierre Frey, evokes a primitive landscape where each piece has its own personality and resonates with each other. The range continues to expand, giving birth to large, massive, sculpted forms with a polished, almost mineral appearance.

Episode 11#GUESTTALENTS: RUBAN LINE by ESTUDIO PERSONA

As the result of a collaborative work between Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young, the designs of Estudio Persona follow strong lines combined with a distinctly neutral and minimal approach. They designed the RUBAN line for Pierre Frey to pay homage to this narrow strip of fabric ornamentation.
