VESTA, designed by Garnier & Linker, is conceived as a cohesive ensemble, where each piece responds to the next in a balanced dialogue of forms and proportions.
Bridge, armchair, pouf and pedestal tables share a common language: full, rounded volumes supported by a central wooden base, a structural and expressive signature.
Its name refers to Vesta, the Roman goddess of the hearth; a quiet presence associated with intimacy, warmth and a sense of grounding.
Everything begins with this central base. A singular element, crafted in wood as a living material, capable of carrying the entire design. From this initial intuition, the armchair emerged, followed naturally by the expansion of the line: seating elements find their balance, while occasional tables extend the gesture, in a subtle interplay of correspondences and controlled tensions.
Wood plays a defining role in VESTA’s richness. Curved veneers, requiring extreme precision, reflect a savoir-faire where technical complexity serves the softness of the lines and the durability of the forms. In contrast, the upholstered surfaces wrap the volumes, enhancing their generosity and extending this dialogue between structure and sensation.
The occasional tables introduce a freer dimension. Their artistic lacquer inserts bring a pictorial quality and offer a wide scope for personalization, allowing each piece to integrate seamlessly into distinct interiors.
