VICTORIA-MARIA GEYER

Situated outside Brussels, this family home draws its inspiration from the architecture of the 1900s to 1930s. Boldly reinterpreted by designer Victoria-Maria Geyer, it has been transformed into a colourful villa that is both unique and welcoming.

Victoria-Maria's style is fully expressed through a subtle interplay of patterns and materials. In the master bedroom, SUNNY wallpaper, designed by Victoria-Maria for Maison Pierre Frey, adds a graphic touch, while CAPRI II velvet in an apricot shade gently envelops the headboard. The living room, meanwhile, focuses on vibrant textures and tones: Jim Thompson's multicoloured CALYPSO herringbone pattern brings energy and movement, balanced by the elegance of FREDDO velvet in a deep chestnut shade.

Each space has been carefully considered to create a refined, joyful and timeless universe, where interior architecture dialogues with art and design in an atypical harmony. The staircase connecting the upper floors to the ground floor perfectly illustrates this spirit, with LE ROCHER carpet, an iconic design from Maison Braquenié, reworked in a stunning shade of red. The kitchen also reflects the vibrancy of this creative approach with the DORA pattern, whose black velvet dots stand out against a cream background like delicate confetti.
