This motif brings together a selection of maps and garden plans of Versailles, featured in Le Recueil des Maisons Royales by Pierre Prieur, dating from the 18th century. They provide a precise and delicate illustration of the Palace of Versailles and its gardens, the royal estate's groves and vegetable gardens, as well as the Trianon palace and its grounds. The soft, spring-like colours of the design are faithfully reproduced on a wide-width matt non-woven.(C) GrandPalaisRmn, Château de Versailles.
