Seen from the sky, this labyrinth of hedges interweave as symbols of patience and self reflection. A tribute to landscape construction, this design combines references to 18th century gardens designed by Lancelot Brown and the illusionist works of Escher. Embroidered on straw in small widths and laminated on a paper backing, the patterns play with the light through different stitch effects creating a volume effect.

Pierre Frey met Ken Fulk for the first time in 2008, in San Francisco, when he visited him in his offices located below the loft where he lives. Renowned for the creation of unforgettable events, this atypical character imagines fantastic decors with an indelible imprint.
