This design also marks the beginning of a great story in costume design, built around a dozen colourless dresses. One day, Isabelle de Borchgrave placed this coloured paper shawl on a bust, and the whole story of Frida Kahlo began. Today, MACAO is a magnificent, thick, supple, ciselé velvet in bright, deep colours.
