Daniel Boulud and Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong unveil Terrace Boulud, the chef’s very first destination in Asia, perched atop LANDMARK PRINCE’S. Set on a spectacular rooftop in Hong Kong, the venue exudes timeless elegance and warmth, offering a refined interpretation of the French Art de Vivre. Inspired by the chef’s cosmopolitan culinary spirit, the restaurant invites guests on a sensory journey through French gastronomy, complemented by creations infused with Asian influences.

The venue is conceived as a “Tropical Brasserie”, a refined setting devoted to the art of conversation. Its architecture and décor combine noble materials such as rattan, wood, and a striking green onyx bar. In the main dining room, the GEORGES velvet, suited to both classic and contemporary interiors, elegantly upholsters the dining chairs. Other dining chairs are crafted in CALVI, a chenille plain with a soft, supple feel and a marbled velvet-like appearance, ideal for seating and designed to capture the light with subtlety. Their backs are upholstered in BOSQUET, an Art Deco-inspired pattern blending foliage and scales.

The banquette seating combines the PÉTALES jacquard, featuring a delicate petal motif in luminous tones, with BOHÈME, a carved cotton velvet whose flowing waves create depth and visual movement. The cushions, crafted in TONNELLE, a geometric pattern inspired by wickerwork, are paired with the plain FOX fabric, creating a refined interplay of graphic textures and contrasting effects.

In the lobby, the banquette upholstered in FOX, a plain fabric blending black and white bouclé with a coloured chenille yarn, brings a chic and textured touch. At the heart of the space, the bar defines the layout. The bar stools are upholstered in CHENILLE DE TOURS, with its soft, woolly texture reminiscent of cut velvets, as well as GEORGES velvet, ensuring a seamless and elegant continuity throughout the interior.
